FAQs

Brighter Beginnings currently has a waitlist in place for ALL classrooms at both locations so it is a good idea to tour our facilities early to ensure we have a space for your child when you need it. To be added to our waitlist please email us at brighterbeginningscdc@gmail.com.

Brighter Beginnings offers full-time childcare Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. for children ages 8 weeks (after second set of immunizations) – 4 years old.
We offer Early Bird Childcare Monday – Friday beginning at 6:30 a.m. on an as needed basis. (This service must be pre-paid.)

To protect all the children in our center we require that your child be vaccinated before starting the center. We will NOT accept a religious note exempting your child from obtaining the required shots. You must provide an up to date shot record for your child before you start the center.

We ask that parents administer medications to their own children. If a parent or guardian wishes for Brighter Beginnings Child Development Center to administer medication to their child, they must completely fill out an entry in the Daily Medication Log Book giving permission for the medication to be given. Complete dosage instructions must be included along with the name of the medication, the time to give the medication, date, and parent signature. All medications must be labeled with your child’s name and prescription medication should be in its original bottle with the child’s and the prescribing doctor’s name and phone number. We will NOT administer any expired medication.

If at any time you need to change your attendance status (from full time to part-time or vice versa) you must notify the Director in writing of this change. Failure to do so may result in additional charges to your account.

Sibling Discount- $10 for the first child, $5 for each child thereafter.

Please keep in mind, that Brighter Beginnings Child Development Center typically has a waitlist in place for all classrooms so it is a good idea to tour our facilities early to ensure we have a space for your child when you need it. If you have NOT been told we have a spot available for enrollment, you SHOULD NOT COMPLETE all of our paperwork. Rather, you may want to add your information to our Wait List.

  • Completely filled out Child Enrollment Forms signed by parent/guardian
  • Immunization Compliance Record Form 121
  • Copy of Original Birth Certificate
  • Annual Registration Fee - $100 (non-refundable)

Parents wishing to remove their child(ren) from BBCDC must notify the center in writing two weeks in advance that their child will be withdrawing. Failure to provide a two-week written notice will result in a charge of 2 weeks tuition from the last date of attendance.

Yes we take State Assistance

We follow the CACFP guidelines. Any dietary restrictions will need to be documented by a medical physician and a note will be required to be kept on file. You will also be responsible in providing a substitute of the restricted component.
